Awakening with Brahma Kumaris

I had attended the 7days course of Brahmakumaris at Raj Yoga Centre , which was really helpful for me to realise about myself and improve inter-personal relationships.Although i am not deeply involved in this , but i feel whatever is explained by Sister Shivani on the Talk shows on Astha Channel are worth implementing in our life, if followed will defintiely make our life less complicated and spread happiness in our family.

The 7days course is the starting pillar to understand the worldly things . It teaches from where the birth of Hindu Religion took place and explains about different gods and goddess , hindu culture,about the Satyug as Golden Age , Trethayug as Silver Age, Dwaparyug as Bronze Age and Kalyug Copper Age, about making us understand that whatever happenes in our life whether good or bad are from the Karmas which we had done in our past.Meditation is done everyday in the peaceful room of Baba , i feel really relaxing and peacefull while concentrating on the tiny light at the centre. After doing meditation i feel peaceful and as my Mom says she can see my face glowing. :)


One of the story i will always remember was- Once a very rich couple came down to Didi in Ashram and explained their sorrow about their child who was Handicapped and all their money was finished in treating  their child ,but still the child's condition didn't improve and always kept on smiling towards his parents, the couple were surprised with this and asked Didi ," we are so much in sorrow and worried because of our son's such condition and he always smiles and gigles while looking at us, why is this so???? then later it was realised that in their past this child was a rich businessman who took shelther of this couple in an heavy storm and the couple gave him shelther but robbed all his wealth and killed him and became very rich", so now after the death this rich businessman ,  took birth as their child and made them  pay price for their deeds and finished off all their wealth which was not their own hard earned and now he is laughing on this couple , thats what is said " As you Sow , so shall you Reap".

I feel ,if husband and wife follows a common spirtiual path , it may be any, then there can be less clashing as both will learn ,understand and follow values and beliefs  which are one and they have agreed on it.

Brahmakumari explains Ego in a person is due to his low self-esteem nothing else, it creates barriers among relationships. I believe Ego kills love, in relationship this should be evaded like pest. Ego is the biggest problem in today's world.

If one really listens carefully atleast to the talk shows of Brahmakumaris , i am sure it will really improve our personal life atleast a bit and improve our relationships making our world peaceful and satisfying. Awakening with Brahmakumaris emphasis more on being "Empathetic", which is missing now in this jet age.
